Shot today with a Nikon D7200 and mainly a Nikkor 300mm 1:4 telephoto lens. My goal was to stop action and thus settings were 1/1000sec, F11 and Auto ISO. I had to shoot this lady photographer hand holding this monster lens! Enjoy, Jeff

The County Fair
We love county fairs! Jeanette and I went to the Saratoga County Fair today and it was a HOOT!! I used my Nikon D7200 with a Rokinpn 8mm wide lens. Focusing is hyperfocal at f8 at .4-.3 meters. I only had to set exposure with Tv and ISO.
The lens, effectively a13.5mm lens on a Nikon APS-C camera gets in so much and creates an artisitic wide angle distortion that I like. Editing was simply in iPhoto. I even won a stuffed shark for Jeanette throwing darts. Enjoy, Jeff

There are bugs everywhere! These were shot today down my street in a weeded lot. I am learning to understand how to set exposure for maximum DOF and the light to shoot this Macro subject. A great challenge! Camera: Nikon D 7200Lens: Tokina 100mm Macro ATX, Flash Nikon SB600 with softbox at -1.7 TTL exposure. Setting are usually Manual, ISO Auto, 1/200sec, F16-22 dependent on the orientation of the insect to the lens. Enjoy, Jeff

On Lark Street again. Eyes open, searching, feeling, looking for a "look", someone different from myself. Someone not routine. I met three really interesting people today. Elvis Rock, James and Sierra.
Elvis Rock loves Elvis. He even performed for me, singing and doing Elvis' signature moves. James, well, quite an interesting look for sure, carrying The Bible with him. Sierra, the most beautiful eyes. Great day.
