Morning Macro

What a lovely morning!  Cool, sweet scent of dew and buds! The challenge of Macro Photography is to get a reasonably sharp image.  Focusing is critical because the DOF is measured in mm.  This was shot early this AM to capture the dew before sunlight burned it off.  Shot with a Sony A330 using Liveview, composition and manual focus was made easier.  To get a decent DOF I used an f stop of 9, ISO 800 to allow a fast shutter speed in the 1/250 range.  Lens was a Tokina 100mm Macro 2.8 with a Canon 500T close up lens attached.  Tripod of course!  Camera was fired with a remote switch. Enjoy, Jeff
